Lincoln Update — US Grand Prix 2003

Our hotel is Bridgestone Headquarters.

Can you tell?

Michael's car—last year's model, of course.

According to a BAR mechanic passing by, the buttons on either side of the display are
for launch control, shifting, fluids (to Michael, not the car) and two-way telemetry.
The display shows pit lane speed limit, kph, etc. I don't remember the details for the knobs below,
just that he called them "cooker knobs." In layman's terms: they make the car go fast.

Ralph pulling into the Williams-BMW pits.

Juan Pablo fans. If you walk by them and say "Montoya" they break out in song.

Poor Jacques. Didn't even make it to the Japanese Grand Prix.

Waiting for JPM's autograph. Sorry, Lisa. We tried, but couldn't get past the Colombians.

Race day—more JPM fans.

And Kimi fans.

Barrichello in the sand after his incident with Montoya.

Bye bye Barrichello.

Poor Kimi, kicking himself that he only came in second to the six-time World Champion.

And last, but not least, more crazy Colombians!
