When my soon to be 15 year old Granddaughter was a little one, I wanted to buy things to keep her warm. She, too, was like her Dad who wears short sleeves in the winter. I did not knit but I wanted to buy warm sweaters, blanket sleepers, and corduroy. She would say too hot Grandmother. I think for those of us who are always chilly, like me, it's hard to imagine.

Also, I think it's a protective instinct. We need to match up chilly little ones with chilly Moms and Grandmothers.

That really is a gorgeous sweater.

Looks great! She's so lucky to have so many crafty and talented people in her family!

I've got a little heater here, too. She's happy running around "naked" (not totally, but close); meanwhile I'm chipping ice off my nose!
