Well, it looks like I’m just going to have to be Switzerland this weekend. My brother sent me an email after I questioned whether or not I should wear my Virginia Tech shirt today. “Do you ever want to talk to your brother again?” He was kidding, of course. I think. Anyway, it’s getting kind of dicey out here in Lincoln. Last week was the Husker bye week. (Is that the dumbest term ever or what? Bye week!) The game is at home and in the evening. Folks are planning all-day tailgates. You don’t even have to watch the game on pay-per-view. Everyone is all riled up. Then T brought these posters home from work.
So, I have officially decided that I am going to spend the weekend saying, “Go Ferrari!” This week is the Singapore Grand Prix. It’s the first night race for Formula One ever, and the track is a road circuit right through the heart of the city. If you aren’t a race fan, you should at least watch a few minutes to check out the beauty of the city. The buildings are all lit up and make an amazing night skyline. The aerial shots are breathtaking. I didn’t realize that the city sits on the water. (Me, not so much a geography buff.) And the cars look amazing. They actually sparkle underneath the bright lights.
I won’t be wearing my Ferrari shirt though, because it’s red. I’m going to stick with neutrals. Maybe a nice black shirt with brown pants. Phil, T brought home a few posters for you. I have absolutely no idea why you would want them, but if you do, let me know.
