The size six circular needles I used to knit my Manos socks are missing. I’ve looked in all of my knitting bags, yarn bags, under the furniture, inside of the furniture, on my desk, under my desk, in the office closet, and even in the diaper bag. It seems like every project I am working on right now requires size six needles. I’m going crazy over here! I last saw them the night I stitched up my Manos socks, sitting in front of the television on the couch. I’ve torn the couch apart a number of times.

Blog readers: any suggestions on where I should look next? I’m stumped!

I have a friend who whenever she misplaced something her mother would ask her where she left it. So, I’ll ask you. Where did you leave your size six needles, Julie? I know that question use to drive her crazy, too.
You could always say a prayer to St Anthony or was it St Frances who is the patron saint of lost things?

Good luck finding your knitting needles.

    P.S. Check with Chloe

Sorry, I spelled St Francis with an e and not an i. That will never work

If Chole has anything to do with it I would look UNDER everything.

I have a recliner that eats needles whether I knit while sitting in it or not. Every time I move it or look under it I find a needle or two whether I’m looking for one or not.

If you’ve looked in all of your furniture, I’d check the trash can. Bella probably isn’t mobile enough to start throwing away your stuff yet (like my kids are–and they do throw away some good stuff!) but I’d check anyway.
